The HLOA is an association of land owners located in the Lostine River valley south of Lostine, in Wallowa County Oregon. It is adjacent to the Wallowa Whitman National Forest and Eagle Cap Wilderness.

The High Lostine Subdivision is a "planned community", incorporated as a non-profit mutual benefit corporation, and regulated by the Oregon Planned Community Act and applicable Oregon laws. As landowners we are collectively responsible for our common property and for the exterior maintenance of individually owned property. We do our best to be tolerant and helpful neighbors.
